2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Anne TOP 500 REVIEWERVINE VOICE on 4 Feb. 2014
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Sophie is tired of her well paid job and her cheating boyfriend and comes to the small coastal town where her brother lives to regroup and work out what she wants to do for the future.

This is good, small-town romance where the town is idyllic, everyone helps each other out and there is a lasting relationship for everyone. This is reasonably standard territory (think Debbie Macomber, Sherryl Woods, Robyn Carr, etc.) but this is well done if you suspend a bit of disbelief and read it for the feel good factor. I did find Sophie's ultimate career choice a bit unlikely and Jason's anger overdone but on the whole this was a better example of the genre and engaging enough if you enjoy light romance. I still think, however, that it's a pity that this author has largely abandoned the romantic suspense genre as I thought that she was particularly good at that.

I received a free copy of this book from the publishers via NetGalley.
