4.0 out of 5 stars Over the Rainbow- a beautiful, insightful book, 27 Mar 2005
This review is from: At the End of the Rainbow (Paperback)
I have just finished reading Over the Rainbow and I must say that I completely disagree with the previous reviewer's comments. Although I haven't been going through particularly difficult times and I don't read many self help books, when I picked this book up and read the first chapter it seemed to tune into my thoughts perfectly. I found reading it that I felt more positive about my life and that it made me reflect on what I have to be thankful for. I don't think this book pretends to be anything, or that it tries to tune into or plagarise anyone else's ideas, it simply tries to make you realise what the most important and meaningful things are in life and to put to rest any negative thoughts and unneccessary anxieties. The style is simple and very easy to read which adds to its tranquility- if you want a book which adds positivity and affirmation to your life, I think this would be a great choice.

4.0 out of 5 stars Think positive, 28 April 2005

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: At the End of the Rainbow (Paperback)
This is the most relaxed and comforting book i have ever read. I don't have many negative experiences and am not generally a negative person, but i do feel that this book has helped me to bring more good thoughts and feelings into my life, making me feel lucky for what i have. I would recommend this book to anyone, even those who don't really read self help books (people like me). Some of the affirmations made me feel a little self concious at times, however they did leave me feeling more relaxed and relieved of some of the anxieties that i have. It has also made me more open to reading more self help books and has made me very open to the idea that positive thinking can really help your outlook to life, your health and your relationships.

1.0 out of 5 stars Unenlightening, 21 Jan 2005
By A Customer
This review is from: At the End of the Rainbow (Paperback)
Although the language is simple and easy to read, I am afraid that this book is nothing new. In some ways this has been plagarised, a integration of others' ideas. There are plenty of books around with guidelines on affirmations and meditations/visualisations. The book seemed to have no structure to it and jumped all over the place and I found myself wondering what the central theme to the book was. It just seemed to be a collection of random thoughts.
