I needed a new graphics card because my old one was on the blink. Quite a bit of reasrch was needed as I knew almost nothing about changing graphics cards.
This product seemed to be the best it for my old machine. It was a bit daunting as a) it looked nothing like my old card as it had cooling fins, not a fan, and b) the instructions could have been clearer.
But it just slotted in to the old card slot and worked perfectly as soon as Windows XP recognised the new part. Could not have been easier.

there was something wrong with the HDCP support on my AMD A6 3500 board and I bought this as it removes much of the driver headaches ATi brings.
It was the cheapest silent card I could find and it was cheapest here.
Plays back full blurays in XBMC without issue and bitstreams TrueHD

I needed a graphics card that was not needed for games but was quiet as I would be recording at times.
This did the job, even better as I was moving up to windows 8 it is keeping me happy and that's not easy.

This cheap card took minecraft from about 10fps to 55fps. I had only integrated GPU before and for £30, I can now play games reasonably well. It doesn't require any extra power cable in the computer and I can now run two screens. It does what I wanted. I am pleased.

This graphics card is perfect for what I require. I have 1080p dual screens using dvi outputs (had to buy a hdmi to dvi cable for 2nd monitor) and it works absolutely fine. You'll notice the difference of noise when you have a fan less card. Bargain!
Pros - good value, quiet, excellent video playback, good overclocking software provided.
Cons - fan less heat sink is quiet big. This wasn't a problem for me but I think I could see it being a problem for someone else who is running out of room. I would recommend checking out the dimensions on the manufacturers website.

This is a great fanless graphics card at a good price for a PC or HTPC (Home Theatre PC) and basic gaming. I've installed one in my HTPC in the living room, and one in my media PC in the office. If you also install an SSD (Solid State Drive), your PC will almost be silent, just the case fans to contend with. The ASUS GeForce GT 610 is a good reliable card backed by the Nvidia reputation. No problems with mine in the last 2-3 years.

Spec Includes:

PCI-Express 2, 1GB, DDR3, 64-Bit, Core Clock 810, Max Digital Resolution 2560x1600, Max VGA Resolution 2048x1536, Direct X 11, Ports: VGA, DVI-I, HDMI, Minimum Power Supply Unit 300w.

Also note, the heat sink is pretty large and will probably hang over other PCI-Express slots, so bear this in mind if you need to use them.

Installation:

Easy to install, only takes a few minutes even faster if you are currently using the Processor graphics. If you have an existing Nvidia graphics card, first uninstall the drivers in Control Panel > Programs and Features > Select Nvidia and Uninstall. Shut down the PC. To install the new card open your PC case, unscrew your existing graphics bracket/plate, unclip the existing card (if installed) and insert the new one, ensuring it locks in place on your motherboard. Screw in the plate and job done. Reboot and Windows should find and install the new drivers. You'll also want to get Geforce Experience software if this is not installed with the drivers.

As an HTPC or non-gaming PC card this is great. Doesn't need external power and as it's fanless it's obviously totally silent. For the money, you really can't go wrong and if you're wanting to add HDMI support and 1080p processing to your PC then go for it. Quality card for a bargain price. If you do want to do any gaming though don't get this, it can't play anything at 1080p very smoothly (and don't even think about trying it with AA enabled) but that's a given for this price range.

I recently upgraded to PhotoShop CS6 and my old computer and card started to creak. Bought this as a stop-gap while I deliberated on how I should configure and finance a new computer. It has done the job admirably and only started to struggle when trying to drive two 27" screens - ok solo!!!

My new computer will be fitted with this cards big brother.
