I bought this notebook headphone from Amazon itself (NOT Amazon Marketplace) September 2012 for my HP Pavilion dm4 laptop. I decided to settle for this headphone after reading the reviews and making a good sense out of it. The delivery took about four days to arrive my residence in Manchester. Based on my observation and use, here are the Pros and Cons:
Pros:
1. The sound quality if used on a laptop that features HD sound card is really amazing. It is crystal clear, producing excellently bass quality, mid range and very crispy soprano. For sound quality, it got my five stars. Note: I tried it on a friends dell laptop with no HD sound card, the sound quality was very poor. Hence I recommend you use it only for a laptop with HD sound card.
2. It has attractive design and noise cancelling effect as well.
3. It fits perfectly in ear and very light.
5. Cable length is very good.
6. The microphone is also crystal clear and very good for skype or personal recordings.
7. Microphone jack is optional depending on your laptop. It could be safely attached to the provided porch when not needed.
Cons:
1. Cable is thin and very flexible - making the device very delicate as it could be broken at anytime.
2. Volume range is very short making it a little more like on/off rather than a volume control.
OVERALL: This is a very lovely noise-cancelling HD sound device that does exactly what it says and I recommend it strongly for all customers looking for deep bass headphone with crystal clear mid to high range sound for a laptop with HD sound card. It got my five star rating.

I wanted them mainly for Skype on the laptop and the test call with these headphones was fine. I recall a previous reviewer noting that the headphones seemed flimsy and that's the impression I got. But I can trade size/portability for being a bit more careful. And if I'm not careful - well, it's not like they cost the earth. I'll just buy another pair.

i bought these headphones a few months ago, i do a lot of online talking and they where perfect as the microphone is nice and clear and the audio is good. They where just what i wanted with there being a separate jack for the mic. I had recently broke them because some bent the audio jack in the door, not a product failure but my little brothers. I decide to give the logitech ago, the mic quality and audio was not as clear and is muffled compared to these.

After reviewing multiple comments from different headset, i thought to give a chance to ASUS HS-101.
Sound quality is superb and as mentioned in the catalog the bass is too good.
Only one problem, exactly not problem i think the earbods are little painful, may be since i am using this type 1st time.

As hearphones this produck is good, but as a headset it is useless (at least with a Sony Experia S)
The microphone only works when not in movement, when moving (walking, running, biking - even driving a car) it picks up a lot of noise and no voice.
The ansver/hang up button on the headset does not work either (at least with a Sony Experia S).
All in all - disappointing and close to useless
