Asus G53SX 15.6 inch Laptop with Bag, Mouse and 3D Glasses (Intel Core i7 2670QM 2.20GHz, RAM 8GB, HDD 1.5TB, Blu-ray combo, LAN, WLAN, Webcam, BT, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit)Purchased this laptop after reading specs and was extremely impressed with what it stated, the laptop is extremely good but the decription is incorrect as the hard drive is actually 1TB rather than the 1.5TB stated, saying that the drive is actually 2 500 GB drives which themselves as split in 2 so u have 4 HDD in total. The unit itself is quite heavy compared to other 15 inch laptops but this is not a problem as it is still easy to transport around. There are a couple of minor bits i think they could improve on and one that i feel is a let down the first minor one is the SD card slot does not have a plastic insert to protect it from dust getting in and the second is the rubberized hand rest, this in itself is an excellent feature as it grips the palm of your hand very well apart from the right side were they have glued a shinny sticker stating the laptops features which if u try to peel off makes a mess of the pad, these are only minor faults though and do not detract from the overall feel of the machine, the last fault is the keyboard, when u press the keys the whole keyboard moves downward this i feel should not happen on a laptop of this price and spec and does feel like they scrimped on this bit. The cooling features of this machine are exccelant and it is very quite even when being used hard. The only other issue i have with the package is the rucsack, although it is designed for a 15 inch laptop i feel the width of the machine was not taken into account as when you zip the bag shut it puts pressure on the zip at the sides were thr machine fits extremely tightly, the headset is excellent as is the mouse and 3D glasses, all that said the overall package is extremely well built and extremely well priced for a machine of this spec.
