I bought the receiver to be able to watch and record digital TV via USB on a machine running Linux (Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex). The device was recognized by the system (after installing the required DVB packages with Adept) and the software (Kaffeine), but it couldn't find any of the digital channels when using the included antenna. Connecting the stick to the roof aerial, via a wall mounted antenna socket, solved the problem. The receiver picks up all channels and the quality is good, although the lack of mobility is somewhat disappointing.
