This car is very easy to assemble. I bought it for my 18-month old, but even with a child this small the car can't make much progress on the lawn of my garden - it just doesn't have the power.
So giving up on the garden we went out on the pavement and it generally works quite nicely.
One point to note is that the instruction manual says the battry is good for 300 charges.

I bought a car fror my grandson and it arrived scratched. I rang them and they said we should expect a few scratches! cheek.
