About the Author

Tara Fraser has been practising yoga since she was six years old. She has studied under a wide variety of teachers from many yogic traditions and is a British Wheel of Yoga Diploma Course Tutor. Tara is the founder and director of Yoga Junction in London where she runs regular classes and teacher-training courses. She is the author of three previous DBP books: Yoga for You, The Easy Yoga Workbook and Live Better: Yoga, and a contributor to Yoga for You and Your Child. A fantastic book that I would recommend to anyone. Whether beginner or advanced, this book is a must have. The book works through the Astanga's history, its benefits based on your body type and the basic principles. The book then goes on to explain in depth the primary series asana sequence. As with all of Tara's books, This book is extremely well written with great photography, making it very easy to follow the asana sequence.

I am sure, like me, after reading this book you will come away feeling inspired.
