50 ASSORTED FLIES????? FIRSTLY, COUNT THEM,AINT NO 50 IN THE PACKET. WELL NOT MINE ANYHOW.. FOUND THE SELCTION OF FLIES VERY POOR.

Having only just taken up fly fishing and not knowing what flies to get, I thought for this price the risk of ordering the set would be worth it, after all you can easily spend £8 for just 6 flies at a local shop, given that I did not bother to count them!!.
The selection seemed to be quite good, it had flies which would cover the whole season, so I probably won't be able to use many of them until later in the year, but I was able to show my flies to a local fishery owner and ask what he thought would work for an evening last week and he was able to pick out a few from the set.
Anyway it lead to a catch of my first trout on a fly. :)
Do not order this thinking you will have every fly for every occasion, but if you need to fill up your box I would say this is a good and inexpensive start.
Quality wise it is difficult to say, given that I am a novice in fly fishing terms I would say I gave the fly a bit of a beating with my casting ability, and it held together. The teeth of the trout did ruffle the fly a little, but I would say that this would happen to most flies and I will still be able to use it next trip. At the end of the day you get what you pay for.
