Product Description

The Mail Plus Archive allows Mail Plus subscribers to access the past issues of Mail Plus that they have purchased prior to June 2014.

The Mail Plus app was redesigned in June 2014. Unfortunately it was not possible to provide an archive of previous issues in the new Mail Plus app.

To resolve this problem we’ve launched the Mail Plus Archive app which allows you to download any previous issue published from October 2012 to June 2014.

And if you’d like to subscribe to the NEW version of Mail Plus, the daily newspaper app from the Daily Mail and Mail On Sunday, simply type the words Mail Plus into the search field in the App Store.

If you have any questions about the Mail Plus Archive or Mail Plus, please email

We have had this program since Dec 2013. At first it seemed Ok but after they change to a super new "App" it all went downhill fast. The 360 degree photo does not load more than it does load. The puzzles page does not load at all, a message appears stating " you are using an old browser, our wunnerful program only uses the latest browsers" this message has no information of where to obtain the super browser. We have no trouble using Silk with any other program. Regarding their "help" line , don't bother. It consists as far as I can tell with lots of boys and girls wearing their Mums and Dads clothes to make them look older. Their knowledge is very limited and consists of a phrase I myself have used since my time in computers in 1966 "switch it off and on" only in their case it is "reload the App" I have reloaded it more times than I care to remember. I bought this as a surprise Christmas present for my wife (a former systems analyst) in Dec 2013 and her opinion is "it's not selling it to me". The original program at least enabled us to access the puzzles. My considered opinion is when our subscription runs out I will never renew it. One last point to reinforce the knowledge of the Mail "help" group was in the early days I tried to find out why the Friday property page was unobtainable. It took many e-mails and calls to find out weeks later that the property page was never included in the Mail Plus App. result 1 out of 10 must try harder Daily Mail.

2.0 out of 5 stars Trouble with Mail Plus app 22 Jun. 2014

I have had trouble with this app since I bought it. I loved the idea of being able to get the paper digitally, and not needing to dispose of the paper copy after it's been read. However, It has only downloaded at the time set on about 4 occasions since December when I got it. I cannot count the times I have had to ring up about it, and I have followed the instructions given, sometimes to no avail. I had hopes that things would improve when the new version was issued, but it was not to be. Again, I followed the e-mail instructions, cancelled the app and reinstated it, and it appeared to be working. Then yesterday, the Kindle went off altogether and no matter what I do, I can't get it to switch on. I have tried all the plugs, wires etc. and although I know it was charged at about 50% when it went off, I have had it on charge all night and I still can't get it to work. It appears to be completely dead. The time I have wasted since December trying to get this Kindle and the MailPlus app to work properly must amount to several days. I am very disappointed and at a loss what to do next.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nightmare to load 14 Jun. 2014

Took 3 installs to work correctly. Spent a hour downloading past newspapers and saving each one only to discover that the history file was empty, only after the 3rd install did it work satisfactorily. All previously saved files from the old version are GONE

It's OK but not brilliant. It would be better if it was part of the normal Mail Plus like before
