This is one of the better Butcher's/Renown releases, but it's still not a great film, just a fair "B" film with good stars - Richard Denning and in particulay Carole Matthews who looks terrific (I'm a fan!), even if she does have a dodgy German Accent. The film is unusually long (1hr 17 mins), and is perhaps 10-15' too long. Some good London location shots, tho not enough. Danny Green at his thuggish best, and a young Jan Holden showing promise of a good future. The plot is standard Secret Agent stuff. The print and sound are first class. If you like BR "B" films you should enjoy this. Carole Matthews in a basque (is that the word?) just looks great, but as I said....I couldn't in all concience give this 5 stars, because a lot of my enjoyment is probably personal and nostalgic.
