Tilt Switches.
This low cost, miniature tilt switch can be used to operate as both a position and/or as a motion sensor. Its rugged metal case with mercury wetted contacts ensure long life and highly repeatable performance, giving consistent low contact resistance. Typical applications would include security sensors, limit switches, electronic games/toys, light switching and G-force/inertia sensing in automotive products and safety switches for electrical equipment.
