The album includes songs from `Phantom Of The Opera', 'Aspects Of Love', `Sunset Boulevard', `Evita' and `Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'. West End stars like Maria Friedman, Kathryn Evans, Claire Moore, Catherine Porter and Shona Lindsay join him in singing some of Lloyd Webber's greatest hits.
This is an ideal complement to John Barrowman's first solo album for JAY. It accompanies our recordings of `Grease', `Phantom Of The Opera' and `Godspell' starring John Barrowman. This comes at a time when John Barrowman is enjoying mainstream success as a TV star of Torchwood, Dr. Who and How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, and after enjoying success as a West End stage star in the recent production of `Anything Goes' and others.

VINE™ VOICE

If you're a fan of John Barrowman then you will know just how talented this man is...he sings, dances, acts and thanks with thanks to the television he can also ice-skate. Is there nothing he can't do?! His voice is as wonderful as he is and if you know anything about John's history in musical theatre then this album will make a perfect addition to your collection. My personal favourite is "sunset boulevard" - vocally rich and a song that really wakes you up.

I will be the first to admit I love this guy, John Barrowman has such a great voice but the quality of the recording does not bring this out unfortunately. I know for a fact that his voice is perfect as I have been to many live performances but this CD did not do him or his voice any justice. Lets just hope his new album Music Music Music will do him justice!! This is the 2nd review of this type as I am just finding that some of his old recordings are not done to the best quality.

It is soooo good that this CD has been re-released. John Barrowman's voice interpreting the fabulouus music of Andrew Lloyd Webber is a match made in heaven. JB is so talented and this is yet another excellent showcase for his voice. I so hope he finds time to committ to another Westend show soon.

This is an excellent CD. Highly recommend for anyone to buy. This guy is Excellent. Definitely an all round entertainer.
