The first large expansion for Cah'n Gun will focus on Yakuza that is members of the Japanese mafia. The expansion includes bits for three additional players to join the game and these three will play as a team against two competing teams of gangsters. The box includes three tantos (Japanese daggers) and three shuriken (throwing stars) for these players as well as themed super powers: Geisha Kamimaze and Samurai. The expansion also includes a new set of Objects such as a deringer or four-leaf clover that give you special abilities. These cards can be used with the basic or expanded game. Cash and Guns is already a fun board game of violence and tactics. A decent amount of thought has been put into taking an initially simple premise, and exploring it with different cards, actions and variations. With that said, it is likely a game you will play, slightly drunk, a couple of times every month. If you are part of the world of underground board gamers, then you value games of intense strategy and thought. This game taps into a more monopoly like idea that mostly revolves around making yourself lovable enough, so people will never make you the target. Game-play is second to charm, which makes it a refreshing break between heated bouts of Settlers Of Catan and Bootleggers.
This expansion is equally as original as the first. It adds new weapons, characters, cards and game-play rules, which help those of us who have played through every possibility in the base game. The shotgun alone is entertaining enough to be worth it, and the entrance of new weapons allows you to craft house rules yourself, opening up even more possibilities.
Overall, it is a worthwhile pursuit to purchase the Yakuza expansion. It will add some flavor, and a slight amount of strategy back into a classic buffer game.

A major complaint amongst my friends about the base game was the mortality rate among players, only 1 died in two games. Once I added this expansion all hell break loose, limbs were being hacked, bullets were going through gangsters and yakuzas all the same, total carnage.
The added Team Gameplay gives it a nice layer of complexity, and the cards are just too awesome...it's the ultimate fun, the tension, the excitement, the thrill of eliminating a sucka makes this game perfect.
