If you went out, bought the elbow album and found it too dark, too introspective and a little bit selfish. If you wanted something to sing along to cheerfully in the car or even some relaxing acoustic sounds to chill out to, you may have been disappointed. This single however, is an excellent example of the diverse songwriting nature of the boys in elbow. The tune is similar in mood to newborn, but is more subtle and perhaps a more beatiful, relaxing song to listen to. For those of you who love the darker side of elbow, don't worry, the song is not too upbeat to quite detract from the 'normal' elbow sound. Coming second is also on the single, and perhaps shows of the other side of elbow in a very favourable light. If you have the album, you'll love it. If you don't , but like the singles elbow have released, buy it.
