This, the sixth version of the GEL-ENDURO, has plenty of cushioning and a Trail Specific Outsole specifically designed with reversed lugs for trail running, that provide improved traction on all types of terrain, particularly on uphill and downhill runs. The novice will also appreciate the Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System that eases the shock experienced during the impact phase, the Trusstic System that reduces weight without compromising structural integrity, and the exceptional durability that ASICS High Abrasion Rubber brings to critical areas of the outsole.

The Gel Enduro 6, Spring/Summer 2011, is a cushioned off road trail shoe that offers excellent value. The Gel Enduro 6 features rearfoot Gel cushioning unit combined with a compression moulded EVA midsole. Following on from the Enduro 5, this 6th version carries over the same build quality and reputation from the version 5 shoe, but with newer materials offering a better fit, more comfort and a better running experience.*** UPDATED *** Rearfoot Gel - The Asics Gel system is based on a special kind of silicon that enables optimal shock absorption. Gel units are strategically placed in the midsole and designed to enable specific functions and positions.Trusstic - A molded component under the mid-foot area. Provides stability and in combination with the contoured midsole helps to control torsional stability.AHAR+ - This is a thinner and lighter version of Asics High Abrasion Rubber. It is placed on heavy contact areas of the outsole to reduce excessive wear.The Gel Enduro 6 is a fantastic value trail shoe designed to give you quality cushioning and grip at all times.

A high quality, comfortable running shoe that can be used for everyday use. I usually buy Adidas running shoes and would advise you to order 1/2 a size bigger than you would wear i.e. my Adidas were 9.5, so went for a size 10 and they are bang on.

A decent quality basic running shoe for light work. Decent value for money. Be mindful of the shoe sizes as they are a bit on the tight side. You need to order at least a size larger than you would normally and may be a bit more.

This is a great buy. These shoes are perfect for the trails with my mtb and for running . Comfortable with nice gripping.They look well made and have a great price also!

The sizes are a joke
I bought these as I live on Bodmin moor and run trails most days. They are well built and pretty water resistant, all great. However, whoever decides the sizes is obviously mad. Read more
