Product Description

Review

An unmissable read!... This book is a pleasure to read and invaluable for counsellors, academics, teachers, and any professional who has contact with the public. It is the much-needed addition to any organisation dealing with Asian clients. - Wajiha Mohammad, Healthcare Counselling and Psychotherapy Journal, October 2004

This is an informative book... would be of interest to all practitioners interested in working cross-culturally, as well as to practitioners with an interest in philosophy. - Counselling and Psychotherapy Journal, April 2005

Fabulous book with great cross cultural information. Really useful for those who are on counselling course (Degree level) and who need to complete an academic essay. Recommend Laungani as an author as he provides a great balanced view, really useful when writing a critical / compare / contrast essay.

He does not mean Asian, he means Indian/Pakistani/Hindu. 19 July 2007
By David Culberson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book almost solely covers Indian and Pakistani perspectives. China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, etc. barely rate a mention. The title is misleading.
