This is one of my favourite quilting books, together with Quilting with Japanese Fabrics by Kitty Pippin which I like even more. The book obviously covers making a quilt with an Asian look - with details of original Asian fabrics, designs and sashiko quilting - and it also includes Polynesia quilting.
What I particularly like is that the patterns are very versatile and can be made with any fabric you want with equally stunning results. Here are some of the best ideas I've found for using large-scale tropical, animal and theme prints.

Instructions for the 8 projects at the back of the book are very clear, including showing you how to sew together different shapes in a very easy manner to obtain a complicated geometrical effect.
All pattern pieces are given, including those which use appliqu�.

This is one of those books I love looking at and will never give away.
