4.0 out of 5 stars Asian Art 25 Sep 2010
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
A very well researched and well written book of which iv'e come to expect from this excellent series, Worlds Greatest Art. I have most of them in my collection.
However for me personally, my only criticism is that I would have liked a lot less pottery, ceramics and iconic Art, statues etc. and a lot more drawings and paintings, especially and in particular in the field of Asian Modern Art, from say the early 1900s to 2000, for example, Asian Cubism/Abstract, Surrealism, Installation etc. I would have really liked to have seen an Asian interpretation of Contemporary Modern Art.
