i got a preview copy of this album and I love it. Loads of wicked songs from the early 80s, but also some brilliant dialogue by Gene Hunt and other characters from the show and theme tunes. I can't wait for the new series!Get this album!!!

The format of the Ashes to Ashes Series 2 original soundtrack is similar to that of series 1. The twenty-seven tracks consist of fives pieces of dialogue from the series, three pieces of original music by Edmund Butt and twenty 80's songs.Featured are classics such as "Under Pressure" by Queen and Bowie, Blondie's "Atomic" and "Photograph of You" by A Flock of Seagulls (which is a lot better than I remembered!) Overall though I thought the quality was higher in the series 1 soundtrack. This album is still an enjoyable trip down memory lane especially for fans of the excellent BBC time travelling police series.

I absolutely adore this CD - if you enjoyed the tv show, then the soundtrack is a must have! There are some amazing songs on here such as In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins and Stand and Deliver by Adam and the ants, as well as some classic Gene Hunt quotes. A great cd to listen to while driving. :)
