Format:Mass Market Paperback
I had been waiting to read this book, hoping that it would not become a Black Dagger Brotherhood repeat.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover a different take on vampires, but hesitate to give it more than 3 stars due to the endless repetition of descriptions - there's a least one explanation per chapter of Alison's unusual eyes, and four or five descriptions in the first half of the book of what their 'mist' is, and how the mating-bond is sealed.
I'll carry on with the series when the next one is out, but hope that this little bug is cancelled out!

I really enjoyed this book, I found Alison and Kerrick's story was a good read, if you are a fan of Nalini Singh or J R Ward then I think you will enjoy this, I will definately be purchasing the next story in the series
