For camping and caravanning, or just a picnic, this is a great product. Why bother with a full barbecue when you can buy cheap disposable ones and use this stand. It works really well and I recommend it highly

The sort of gadget you are not sure if you need until you own one. Disposable BBQs may have wire legs don't but anyone can see that these are like ballerina legs with a rugby player balanced on top so using portable BBQs is always a hassle, trying not to scorch grass, finding a level surface and trying to manoeuvre burgers around without the whole shebang collapsing takes skill, patience and asbestos hands.
This product is great; takes a couple of mins to assemble (4 bolts) and has fitted disposable BBQs bought from three different places so far (I was not sure of they were a standard size, it seems so). We use ours when boating and it's been a great find.Recommended.

Bought this to take camping and popped into Tesco to get some disposable BBQ's only to find they didn't fit. Have since found out that most normal disposible barbies fit so dont get a Tesco one as it will fall through. When we got over the inital hitch (and it wasn't to do with the stand) it did the job fine. Although some BBQ's come with their own stand, they are quite flimsy and I feel far happier using this stand. Packed away nice and flat.
