soundtrack to life,

Any viewer of 'As If' will agree that music is one of the main sources of the show, it is what sets it apart from other teen dramas and this CD shows just that. The variety of tunes from Coldplay's 'Trouble' to Atomic Kitten's 'Right now', prevents the soundtrack sounding samey and provides a track for many different moods. Another advantage is that the tracks vary from early 90's to 2001, not often found on compilation. definitely provides a soundtrack for life.

When the first episode of "As If" was shown I wasn't so impressed, perhaps because of reviews placing it in the same bag as "This Life" and other ground-breaking TV Dramas. "This Life" it isn't- but it has gradually developed it's own cult status among older teenagers alike. Each episode gets better and better as the series progresses and this soundtrack captures every slice of fun from the programme! The unusal combination of artists of Rock, Pop, Dance and Indie genre's from the 90's and today bring an excellent sense of funky chill-out fun! Stand-out tracks from Toploader, Melanie B, Coldplay and Groove Armada make this a must have CD worth buying today!
