This is a good replacement for "baby" cutlery as it looks "grown-up", yet is the right size for small hands to manipulate with ease. The tines of the fork are sufficiently "spikey" to enable children to pierce their food without them running the risk of piercing themselves and the knives are sufficiently sharp to cut food without them cutting themselves. The design is simple (we had the handles engraved with each child's initial to make them more personal) and functional; the children all like them and at meal times each one fetches his/her own set. In addition, parents appreciated the fact that the cutlery is dishwasher safe. The packaging is simple but atractive ... though it doesn't last long once the cutlery has been put in the drawer!

I bought a set of this cutlery for my husbands niece, I wasn't too sure about it initially as it wasn't very expensive. When it arrived it was excellent, much better than the picture illustrated. I thought it was so great I've bought two more sets for Christmas gifts. It is excellent value compared to some other Arthur Price sets we have bought which were over £20. The box is very simple but still fine for giving as a gift.

very pleased with this purchase. my son whos nearly 5 and girl 2 are really getting to grips with these after just a few days. a great step up from the plastic cutlery. good price for the quality.

Child'ss Cutlery
