One of the best part of these books is that their a quick read that normally can be done in a day if you have time. I usually read these books in a single sitting. The Olympics have come once more to Mount Olympics and Artemis is upset that its boys only since Zues feel that girls would get hurt. Especially with a temple being the grand prize to the winner of the final event. While Artemis hits one problem after another like fighting with her brother Apollo and having trouble convincing people a girls Olympics is a good idea. One of the big surprises of this book over the others is Medusa actually getting along with Artemis and the other girls. Apollo proves to his sister than he is not all brawn and no brains. Nice to see Zues and Hera dating finally since hey were always together in most of classic Greece tales.

It so cool that Artemis stood up for the female athletes rights! It's so cool that she's got a twin that helped her balance the fairness between goddessgirls and godboys at MOA

Like the rest.....AWESOME!!! 11 Dec. 2011

The goddess Girls series has never let me down. Me and my friends love the series and we are always wondering whats coming next and thinking about what it might be about. I own all 7 of the books and I even like writing my own stories about them and adding other goddesses like, Amphitrite the goddess of the sea. She's my favorite goddess (Poseidon's wife in mythology)
Anyway, the authors are really creative to think of a great Idea I wish I made up. They have very creative spells (The goddesses use) I also like the spins on the myths that seemed to make the myth I've known as two minutes into a 271 paged book.

Fun around every corner! 20 May 2013
By Young Mensan BookParade - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
The book is about the goddess named Artemis who attends Mount Olympus Academy. The Annual Olympic Games are coming up and she wants to compete in them, but according to Zeus, the King of the Gods and also the principal at the Academy, only boys are allowed to compete in the games! Not fair!! Artemis is also better at sports than most of the godboys. So, Artemis decided to do something about it by drawing up a petition for a Girls-Only Olympics! The purpose of the petition was so Zeus would see that lots of students were in support of the Girls-Only Olympics. It also didn't hurt that Hera, a goddess that was dating Zeus, was on Artemis' side and wanted to help.

Other kids would enjoy this book because it is full of suspense and makes you want to keep turning the pages and read more. There is fun around every corner; you feel you are actually in the book with Artemis going through all the amazing stuff that she encountered!

Apollo, Artemis' twin brother, had entered the Python-O-Thon contest at the Annual Olympics Games. The Python-O-Thon was a new contest in the Olympics in which the competitors had to answer two tricky riddles posed by the biggest and trickiest serpent, the Parnassus Python. Artemis wanted to help her brother win the contest so she snuck into the gymnasium to find out what the Python's weakness was. When she sneezed, she awakened the Python which then hypnotized her and made her confess what her brother's weakness was instead! The next day, Apollo won the contest against the Python even though the Python knew what Apollo's weakness was. Apollo had prepared for the contest diligently and outdid the Python with his wits. His prize was a temple in his honor!

This book is special because it teaches you about Greek mythology set in modern times. Also, as I mentioned before, you feel like you're in an amazing adventure with Artemis.

I give this book a 4 1/2 star rating.
