Tis first book of the artemis fowl series is a work of art from the creative mind of eoin colfer .The book is about a boy (artemis fowl)and his butler (a massive an who is instructed to protect artemis) who is a wiz with computers and involved in the secret world of what we would call creatures from fairy tales.

i thought this book was the best i ever read. i enjoyed it because it is a fantasy and it is very exiting all the way through.it is about a 12 year old anti hero who sets out with evil intetions and ends up a better person. thanks to the help of captain holly short and his body gaurd butler. i would recomend this book to anyone who can read as it is fantastic.

Before now I haven't used audiobooks, simply because I could never concentrate on them. Recently I decided to give this a go, as I was reading the book anyway. I found myself really surprised with how easy it was to listen to once you got into it. Adrian Dunbar's voice makes the whole book even better than if you just read it. His different voices for all the characters makes it come alive, not to mention makes you laugh in certain places too! I am now starting on the rest of these great books on audio. If you plan on reading them I suggest you do it with audio too. You will not be dissapointed.
