The most creative tips and techniques I've ever seen!,

I purchased this book based on a friend's recommendation. I had been searching for a mixed media book that had tips on unusual materials and techniques...this book certainly fit the bill! It covers the use of pretty much every media, including inks to acrylics to oils, and nearly any other you could think of! The author has spent a lot of time experimenting with unique ways to manipulate these materials, such as adding common household products or putting your work in the freezer to create amazing visual effects. There are literally hundreds of ideas with pictures to accompany them. If you are looking for a book that is creative and out of the ordinary to spark your imagination...this is it!

This book is a wonder to behold. Every page brings a new idea and may serve as inspiration for my next endavor. It discusses just about every art medium without the boring details that take up so much space in a lot of Art instruction books, that seem to want to appeal to the rank beginner, even though it promises to be for the intermediate/advanced artist.
A must have for any artist, who wants to expand his/her horizon.

The book, Art Effects, was recommended and with most art books,if your lucky,half of it will be any good. This one was absolutely full of brilliant ideas and information. The best art book i,ve bought so far.
