5.0 out of 5 stars Think more clearly., 1 Jan 1999
By A Customer
I first discovered 'The Art of Thinking : A Guide to Critical and Creative Thought' in a college night course on Logical Thinking and Decision Making. Ruggiero's book was recommended reading as well as use of Neurosync behavior software while working. This book is clear, concise, and covers myriad of information. It should be taught in High Schools. Out of the last 36 hours of college, I learned more from this book than all my other courses. Excellent!

5.0 out of 5 stars complete guide to creative, analytical, critical thinking, 10 Sep 1998
By A Customer
This book is a textbook to thinking techniques that we should have been taught in school, but weren't. It discusses the process of idea generation, refinement and criticism, so when you finish studying this book (and study you must) you have gone from brainstorming wild ideas to forming opinions, imagining exciting thoughts, making your arguments and refining them to withstand harsh criticism. It is an important tool to use in a complex world full of rethoric and sound-bites.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Lot of Real Education In One Small Book, 31 Dec 1997
By A Customer
If you can only master what this book teaches you will truely be an educated and clear thinking person. Very practical, easy to read and understand. This book teaches what most people never learn and desperately need to learn; how to be a quality analytical and creative thinker. Get it, read it over and over and apply it.
