This is an amazing book of stunning stained glass images for you to colour. The book is A4 in size and is the same thickness and has the same sort of hard covers that hardbacks like Art therapy or Colour Therapy have. The pages inside are thick and very crisp white which let my colouring pencils glide with ease. The pictures are printed on both sides of the paper for those that need to know.

The wonderful thing about this colouring book is that all the images of stained glass are real. There is a key at the back of the book which shows all the stained glass pictures in the book and where they come from. Some of them only have the location and some of them also include the artist who created it, the name of the piece and the rough date.

The stained glass images range from 12th century all the way to the early 1900s. It's actually amazing to see how stained glass has changed and some patterns I thought were new turned out to be very old indeed. The key at the back is also in black and white to not spoil your creativity in giving you the real pictured images, but I can't wait to find online the pictures I've coloured in and see how different or the same I have coloured in my stained glass.

A few of the images are repeated, for example occasionally one of the stained glasses that is just a pattern rather than a picture with people in it will appear on both the left and right page, but this doesn't bother me as it gives me two chances to colour in the pattern! :)

The range of images is really different too. Some of the very old medieval stained glasses are those you would find in old churches, some of the people look a bit wonky, there are pictures of sheep, the last judgement, king soloman.

Beautifully presented book with very thick pages and a stunning hard cover. Well worth the money, the designs range in difficulty to suit everyone, and no-one cares if you colour the grass red! I love it.

A good book with a wide variety of pictures to be coloured - ideal for anyone who wants to be artistic but who feels they cannot draw etc, or just as a relaxing pass time. Overall a lovely book for young and old alike.

I found this book just what I wanted to relax with. The opportunity to colour-in in an adult fashion was brilliant and so relaxing. Thanks.

This is a really nice colouring book if you like stain glass windows this is just the book, it is hard backed lots of pictures to colour and an interesting information directory about each window in the back of the book. Even my husband likes this book and has been busy sorting out the windows he likes the best. A lovely book with added interest. Very pleased with purchase

It's a good book with good designs, there's even an index at the back to tell you where the windows are that the designs come from and how old they are which is a nice little addition. The reason I didn't quite want to give it 5 stars is that the pages are double sided and, while the paper isn't flimsy, it isn't thick enough to stop ink/felt-tip bleeding through which obviously ruins the design over the page. It's a shame but it's a nice book and if you stick to pencil you'll be happy enough.
