An Excellent book,
This review is from: The Art of Resin Jewelry: Techniques and Projects for Creating Stylish Designs (Paperback)
A simply excellent book on resin jewelry.
A broad range of techniques are covered with great photos to illustrate the instructions for the different suggested projects within the book. The text is informative and concise. The excellent photography of finished designs alone will inspire anybody interested in this subject.

I expected to learn something.....and I learned nothing. There are no instructions how to make "interesting" jewellery like the ones at pages 9 and 11. The instructions refer to simple techniques that you can easily find in relevant sites.

i'm a 'mixed media jeweler' and i decided to approach resins to expand my view on materials.i read so many good comments on this book that i decided to buy it. i opened the first pages and understood that the title was at least optimistic. where is the ART mentioned? it is true, when you begin you need to know technical uses and boring stuff but since in the case of resins everything reduces to a couple of things -timing,doses,temperature...and plus these vary from brand to brand, therefore you must experiment different products and models and a book can be of little help- there was plenty of space to make a real artistic and unconventional use of resins.on the contrary, the author preferred to carry out very easy projects for quite insignificant pieces.i've found the same suggestions in youtube videos on resins. so: probably for someone who has never done a piece of jewelry of no kind in life, but then, why not call the book simply 'basic techniques and easy projects with resin'?
