A constant help.,

This review is from: Art and Its Histories: A Reader (Paperback)
I started my Art History and Theory degree over three years ago and have now graduated with a 1st. And I can say that this text was consistently helpful throughout my studdies. There is always something to look back over whether it be a specific chapter or just a few pages. But an essential and easy to read book for any art history/theory or visual culture undergrads.

quite interesting,
This review is from: Art and Its Histories: A Reader (Paperback)
This is a quite interesting book due to the depth and breadth of the art history texts it presents. However, I would not recommend it as a very first read of art history as it is very heavy at points.

This book was made especially for students from the Open University. Its content is therefore emphasizing on learning.Sometimes it could be going straight to the point instead of going around it.
