Anime Art Book at its Best,

When I ordered this book I didn't have high hopes due to dissapointing art books I have previously ordered, thankfully I was presently surprised.The book, from what I am used to, is read from back to front in the traditional japanese way. It starts with a comparison between the anime and manga. It illustrates the different visual techniques they both use. It goes on to show some of the original artwork from the manga, mostly in colour, it is this that makes up the bulk of the book. It also contains anime style illustrations interspersed between the chapters. There are drawings that are not obtained directly from the manga storyline i.e. drawings in which they are posing ect. as well as the manga cover illustrations (up to vol. 18). This is all followed up by a section on the animation and interviews with staff, black and white line illustrations for the characters in the anime and a glossary of terms and names used with their translations. The book contained far more than I imagined and was informative and well set out, this is a must buy for any inuyasha fan.

Inu Yasha - Rumiko lives up to her name,

Inu Yasha arguably the greatest manga of all time.The art book itself is a treat it displays Takahashi's skill as a Artist as well as her skill as a story writer and character developer. each character really lives up to their name. as well As Inu yasha and his bunch characters like Jaken and Sesshoumaru are probably the most adept of the entire cast especially Jaken's legendary phrase "sesshoumaru-sama"
