This book has some wonderful pictures and photographs that really give you a feel for the times. However, there is a large gap in the Art Deco period - the 1930s. The pictures in the book really concentrate on the 1920s 'Flapper Girl' style and ignore the more elegant lines of the 1930s. This is a real opportunity missed, particularly as the book was brought out to coincide with the V&A 'Art Deco 1910-1939' Exhibition.

This is a good book for referencing and images, has good interesting information to help you with this period and has great imagery also. Book contains; designers, exhibitions, fashion photography, artists, hair, hats lots on the period.

This is a great book, it covers all aspects of art deco fashion, gorgeous clothes, hairstyles, shoes, bags etc. It has illustrations and photographs. My only problem with it is that it is too small, i finish the end and I wish there was more! However it is a handy size to fit in your handbag for referencing.
