This book is one of our favourites - we have nearly 30 books on the subject ! There are plenty of photos of processes and enough information to get anyone with a creative bent well on their way. Photos of a range of artists' works give additional inspiration and a good glossary gives the beginner a sound grasp of papermaking terms. Definitely recommended as a book all aspiring papermakers and paper artists should have.

This book is great an an idea-starter, and as a reference for what is possible in paper making. It is NOT a good beginning text, and does not contain adequate instructions for a beginner to make that first sheet of paper. It also does not contain a source reference for suppliers, etc.

Wow. Seminal. Packed with inspiration, how-tos, details, instructions and great images. A must for every papermaking and papier mach� library - pulp painting, pulp spraying, sculptural techniques with paper (and not of the scissors-exacto knife type). I heard that it's out of print. I am so grateful to at last have a copy after borrowing it over and over from my library. Not to be missed.
