5.0 out of 5 stars Tipping the balance 17 Mar 2014
Format:Audio CD
Cannot agree with last two comments and had to write this to restore balance in favour of the positive reviews. This album is beautiful and so different from the usual stuff. Love most chill-out, particularly Cafe del Mar and Jose Padilla's own albums. This is just that little bit different and wonderful for it. Very warm too and such an eclectic mix.

5.0 out of 5 stars ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! 13 Oct 2013
Format:Audio CD
Those who are expecting the bland and rubbish "chill" albums being released by the thousands should steer well clear of this beautiful, haunting and wonderful journey through music genres. It's truly a remarkable album that shows the genius behind Bent and the kind of music they make. There is no category that they fall under. I can't even think of a genre to slot them in. I love them and now i love them more for introducing me to music i would never had found and had the opportunity to listen to. This compilation is now one of my favourites and up there with my top 5. Thanks boys!

5.0 out of 5 stars Eclectic and Different 17 July 2009
By BP
Format:Audio CD
Selecting from a variety of genres this is no rehash of stuff heard many times before. From the warm and optimistic Pipe Groove through the quirky Your Life and intimate Meteors to the powerful Several Times II I have enjoyed this album hugely. Thank you Bent for such a great collection of music (and I thought the sleeve notes were top stuff too)

1.0 out of 5 stars Disapointed! 7 Dec 2011
Format:Audio CD
What a disapointment really! A very bland & boring double CD! Nothing as i expected specially coming from Bent. Nothing from their nice work nor catchy vocals...Trying to let it grow on me, yet finding it quite monotonous & dull. Not an album recommended to chill out with but more to bore the listener really!

1.0 out of 5 stars A Way Below Par 'Chillout' 2 April 2009
Format:Audio CD
This is by far the most disappointing Chillout-type CD I have ever bought and I have bought and enjoyed most of them since the early Classic Chillouts. I do not know what Bent were up to here as I have both their 'Programmed to Love' and 'Ariels' CDs which are simply great.
Some of the tracks on Art of Chill Vol. 5 sound like they come from another planet; others will put you to sleep. Sorry Bent but this is not up to your usual standard.
