If there is one book you need buy to learn how to shoot kids - this has to be it. This is the book I've always been looking for. You often find books with great images and weak text or weak text and great shots. But this book simply blows you away. The pictures are extremely inspiring and the text is really helpful. It's full of tricks and advice that doesn't appear in other books. All I can say is FANTASTIC.

I loved this book. It is packed not only with beautiful, inspiring images, but also great information. It would be a fantastic read for beginners, or parents wanting to take better pictures of their kids, yet it is also full of very useful and honest information that a professional would appreciate. I agree with another reviewer that more technical information would have been very helpful, but that's it's only fault.
I thoroughly recommend this book - I actually got it from the library (sorry Amazon!) but I will probably buy it as I'll want to keep refering to it in the future. It's how a book on children's portrait photography should be like. Buy it.

Even if you only buy this book and look at the pictures it will fill you with smiles. The images throughout the book are simply beautiful and well taken. The author takes you through every aspect of becoming a childrens photographer, even those things you wouldn't have considered including how to accept that sometimes you'll have to say no to appointments.
I read this book from cover to cover as soon as i got it and found it fascinating. The only improvement would have been a technical spec on each of the images to help me to understand how they were achieved.
Great and although expensive i think it's well worth the price.

Beautiful book, very interesting read
This is a really beautiful book. One to read many times over, as each time you pick up something new. I've already recommended it to some photography friends!
