5.0 out of 5 stars A Real Fan's Thoughts., 18 Jun 2008
By A. Weaver (England) - See all my reviews

Don't listen to the Manc from Essex, not being a real football fan he wouldnt know what its like to truly support a team and so wouldnt understand the concept of supporting a team through thick and thin, not just because they win titles and its the easy thing to do.

We played some amazing football this season and although we ended up with nothing I wouldnt want to watch any other team. So lets be proud of our boys, our manager and most of all our fans- true football fans not glory hunters.

5.0 out of 5 stars How Arsenal blew the title!, 8 Jul 2009
By Victor Pimenta (Lisbon, Portugal) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is a must for any gooner, or lover of football in general. It shows Arsenal playing the beautiful game the way it should be played. Great value for money in the 135 minute presentation and we see what could have been in this particular season if not for that Saturday afternoon in Birmingham when Eduardo got injured, and the referee gave an absolutely shambolic penalty in the last minute. Surprise surprise, it doesn't show William Gallas throwing a strop, and giving the incentive to Man Utd. to win the title, but having said that it continues to show the phenomenal work of Arsene Wenger. Also included is our great champions league campaign where once again Arsenal can complain about the refereeing in the quarter final over both legs. 5 stars for a 5 star team who just fell short at the end.

5.0 out of 5 stars top notch, 2 Aug 2008
By classic 1965 (New York, NY USA) - See all my reviews
The quality of Arsenal's season review DVD's is always top notch - probably the best around. Brilliant picture quality and nice extras.

And the standard of football this team played is well worth savouring. The fact that they played "the beautiful game" so consistently yet didn't win anything says more about the cynical nature of the modern game than it does about Arsenal.
