Definitely worth a read (if of course you are a Gooner), but I thought it was disappointing in comparison to the previous book.

The back of this book says "the inside story both on and off the pitch". Other than the last chapter which is ok, is just a cut and paste of all the negative stories and match reports from the newspapers and online blogs from the last 14 mounths. I didn't like how the book makes out that Ozil just offered to arsenal on deadline day as a fact(with no proof). When Arsene Wenger, ivan gazidis and ozil said first contact was in February. This is not a book for Arsenal fans to enjoy or even get a fair opinion on the pluses and negatives over the last few years. It just feels like a waste of time. Oh and the last line of the book reads " spend spend spend" so that would tell you where there coming from. I cannot recommend this to anyone even spurs fans.

I learned a lot about Wenger and Arsenal. This is probably the best analysis of the legendary manager that I've read so far: why he's succeeded, and why he's failed. I think a second sequel will be needed after this enigmatic man retires!

Reading this astonishingly honest and interestingly crafted latest book from the pens of Alex and Kevin one can't help but reflect on the sub-title...'the quest to rediscover past glories.'
What has happened to Arsenal since the glory days?
As a result of their considerable investment in the Emirates, and until recently their limited investment in the squad, the Directors have shown a greater interest in the 'business' of Arsenal Holdings than the success of Arsenal on the pitch. Without doubt their unswerving faith in Arsene Wenger has enabled some small measure of footballing success whilst the squad has rarely reached the heights it's supporters expect and demand.
This book so accurately highlights both the strengths and weaknesses of this strategy and serves to remind us that without Wenger
little would have been achieved against the corporate backcloth of building a property company(!)
However the insight and perspective of the authors makes compelling reading once again. For Arsenal fans the hope is that past glories will remain in the past ,to be replaced by consistent future success and that this book will be the final chapter in a long running tragedy of failed expectations and under achievement.
If you're a fan or just plain interested in the Arsenal saga, buy this book, enjoy the amazing detail of what goes on behind the scenes and hope and believe that we'll all share great joy in years to come. This book gives us hope that having lived through the long long transition we should now expect our dreams to be realised.
