A selection of favourite hills, suitable for day trips from Glasgow. The Campsie Fells, The Cobbler, Ben Ledi. Ben Lomond, Ben A'an, Conic Hill, The Whangie and Dumea from Edinburgh (City Bypass) south westwards to Dunsyre and Bleak Law. To the east the boundary is the A702 through West Linton; to the west the A70 through Balerno. Caerketton and Allermuir Hills provide panoramic views over Edinburgh and the Forth.
