This Vocalion release comprises the original album of Victor Young's famous score for the equally famous Oscar winning American film 'Around the World in Eighty Days', which featured a galaxy of stars including Noël Coward, Frank Sinatra and David Niven to name only a few. It proved to be the last film score written by Victor Young, who died in 1956. It's without doubt one of his finest works, and this memorable music will indeed bring back fond memories of the film itself. Titles include Around the World, Sky Symphony, Prairie Sail Car, The Pagoda of Pillagi and Land Ho.
