This is the one I keep coming back to, I love the alphabetical section with tremendous detail on the selected essential oils. It seems to me a totally professional text and the most useful, although I have Battaglia and various others including Jane Buckle,and Schnaubelt's latest, which would be my top four. I am also a nurse but I don't share the first reviewer's views. It is obviously written by someone with tremendous experience and is very well referenced. It would always be nice to have more information, eg on dementia care, (my field), which the reviewer mentions, but in fact there is not a huge amount of research based information on that anyway! specialist up to date knowledge means keeping up with journals.

This book is full of good information (more scientific) and it has a chapter in the clinical uses of aromatherapy oils. Worth buying!!! I use this book together with Bataglia's one, both are excellent source of information.

I ordered this book direct from Amazon as a christmas gift...not only did it take ages to arrive but when it did, it was a poor-quality fake copy, with black and white photocopied pages! Not the standard i expected from a reputable book seller and now my best friend has no christmas present!!
