This is one of the unlikeliest of books, really. I'm not a big fan of Arnie's films. They're okay, but not my type of thing. So when a friend urged me - continually! - to read this, I was sceptical. I hugely enjoyed it though, and would recommend it wholeheartedly. I was interested by the section of the book that deals with exercise and nutrition, and that offered me a way into it. I expected that part of the book to be good, and it was. What surprised me though, was the quality of the autobiographical section. It gives a fascinating insight into the mindset, and the methods, of a very successful man. You may, like me, be somewhat ambivalent about the form of success that the author has achieved, but succeed he undoubtedly has. The clear and dedicated way he managed this is set out here in a simple, formulaic way. The clarity is such that it is impossible not to be affected in a very positive way. So, all in all, it's a great book. I've got great deal of admiration for its author now. It really is a very uplifting read.... Thanks, Arnie.
