5.0 out of 5 stars A Treat For The Arnhem Connoisseur...... 22 Nov 2013
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
As advised in the first review, get a copy before they all disappear.....I'm glad I did !
Arnhem 'buffs' will know by know that anything published by Robert Sigmond is worthy of serious attention and this title is no exception. Beautifully produced and deeply-researched by the authors, the book contains many personal accounts, clear maps, and plenty of photographs ( several of which are new to me - and I have a lot of Arnhem books). As an in-depth study of Waffen-SS troops in action at Arnhem, this book is highly recommended.........

5.0 out of 5 stars First class 27 July 2013
Format:Hardcover
As I write this on 26/07 I see that amazon are for reasons that are not clear to me that the book is 'unavailable'...they move in mysterious ways....I am one of the authors and we have 300 copies left from the original print run....So if you are interested in Arnhem then you need to get this book which is one of the few written in English on the German side. Loads of photos and maps coupled with new information and a detailed look at the actions of the Krafft Battalion who in a few vital hours stopped most of the 1st Airborne Division in their tracks on the first day of the operation.....But at the rate we are selling them it will be unavailable soon....Don't wait too long!
