This book has obviously been written by someone who has inside knowledge of the trials, tribulations and frustrations of being an Army wife. Anyone who has enjoyed watching Soldier Soldier will love this.

A rather tongue in cheek look at life in the Army for both the troops and the wives in the latter part of the 20th Century. I was an Army Wife for over 40 years and must admit that I enjoyed every minute reading it and could identify with quite a few parts! I think Catherine Jones is an excellent authoress and if you want a light hearted read with lots of laughs then this is the book for you! I do wish she would write some more in this vein again soon!
