Product Description
Five years have passed in the Armored Core story line. The government of earth is rebuilding after the destruction it suffered during the coup led by Leos Klain, Martian rebel. Heavy casualties have resulted in a brain drain, leaving technology and science to languish. Clearly vulnerable, the government mounts an armament campaign.
In an environment such as this, an underground of mercenary factions flourishes. Enter the Ravens, the pilot wing of the Armored Core. They battle in government skirmishes, as well as public arenas, for profits, much like Rome's gladiators. If you can become a high-ranking Raven, your influence will reach beyond the public to affect the fate of the planet. Your mission then is to rise through the Raven ranks and chart a destiny for earth.

Since having played Armored Core 2, I have been looking foward to a sequel. Armored Core Another Age is like an extention of AC2, except that this time you're on Earth.
There are lots of new parts to be dicsoverd and of course, new enemy's to destroy. But it's not all 'guns blazing' - you will also find that you need to think about the parts you buy, and to think carefully about what parts you take with you for each mission. If only you could load old data from AC2 to ACAA2.
It could save time and give gamers more satisfaction.
The best thing I like about this one is that you can play the 'vs missions', where both players are hired to do the corperations dirty work, but I was dissappointed to find that after earning credits in this mode, you can not use them in the single player mode it seems.
Anybody who likes platforms will love ACAA2, so go on, go get it!

Having played previous armoured core titles I had high expectations. And for the most part they were met! There are millions of combinations of weapons and 2 player is fun, the controls are the same as before. One bad point is the fact that they dropped the arena mode (where you could compete against other ravens to get money and parts). Also It would be nice to get a 4 player version. So on the whole it's a good game but if piloting large metal robots with missile launchers and machine guns on their backs is not your cup of tea then you won't enjoy this game, for everybody else you will love it!
