Another great nostalgia trip with Armchair Thriller - wonderful to see this intriguing and suspenseful story again, and even better than I remembered it from the first time, back in 1978. My 13 year-old son also really enjoyed it - I think this story is certainly one of the highlights of the two Armchair Thriller series.
As with other Armchair Thrillers, the story builds quite slowly - but there are plenty of shocks and surprises along the way to keep the viewer hooked - not wanting to give away too much about the storyline. It unfolds gradually, and has some great cliff-hanger endings too - a couple being the best in the series in my opinion, and plenty of location filmimg too.
Great cast too, with James Bolam and Rosalyn Ayres looking very young!
If only TV nowadays were anything near as as good as this - highly recommended :-)
(Interesting for me that the locations used were nearly all around South Ascot/Windlesham too, not far from where I live).
