Where are the multiplayer stategies promisied ?,

A fairly good book. Lots of pictures, technical stuff..etc...However, some of the hints in the mission walkthroughs are useless which leads me to believe that the final product was rushed. Don't get me wrong, most of it is relevant..it's just infuriating when there is no consistency. I personally bought this book because I wanted to learn some advanced strategies for the game's multiplayer part. BIG disappointment ! Comments such as "When playing the Romulans, be sneaky.." etc...are an insult to any 10 year old's intelligence. This game really comes alive in multiplayer, unfortunately the games' super easy AI and this book let me down. However the mission walkthroughs are still, for the most part, detailed and helpful. So, if you are fanatical about this game or if you're really stuck , buy it.

This is better than the publisher's strategy guide for Star Trek: Birth of the Federation. In addition to providing details on how to play the game, it also provides information on the actual missions of the game and also hints to successfully complete each mission.
