This guide probably includes the word "Grand Canyon" in its title to attract sales, but really it is a book about Arizona. I found, although there are indeed many pages devoted to the Grand Canyon, it didn't really tell me anything that I found useful. I would have preferred a book about the Grand Canyon and nothing else, of equal size.

If you're travelling around to other scenic parts of Arizona, this would be a good book for you because it will give you lots of ideas about which places to visit. And the photographs are excellent. But if you only intend to visit the Grand Canyon, keep shopping around, as you will find this book disappointing.

An excellent book to start planning a trip to Arizona and
the Grand Canyon. Easy to read and great to pick out places of interest to you.The great photos lead you to discover more about areas and venues that you would not pick up on in other guides.

This book has lots of overall detail however each specific area does not have as much detail as i would have liked. Great if you are travelling all over Arizona though.
