Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
There are several compilation double CD's covering most of Aretha's more well known songs and I think this is the best. It is available at a low price and has better quality mastering than say on "RESPECT" with a lot less hiss on the older tracks.{see my review of that and please note I did not know of this CD at the time of writing}. There is another similar CD called "Greatest Hits (remastered) Import, ASIN: B00004Y29P" which costs a great deal more and has fewer tracks, of which almost all are in the same running order. Despite having a good ear(2) and stereo I could see no difference in sound quality on the remastered CD, so why pay more for less. Chris B

Songs new and old that have so much soul you can loose yours in her perfection. A voice that moves, singing songs that you can truly feel. A must, must, must have - buy it or miss out on a collection classic.
