From the product description: "All tracks have been newly remastered"

midflight says:
"All tracks have been newly remastered" ... which almost certainly these days means they've been MADE LOUDER, but not necessarily any improvement in actual sonic quality...

B. Shaw says:
They certainly have been remastered, and most of the tracks sound awful. I've got all the original vinyl releases and they sound great, but as 'midflight' says, they've been made louder. The dynamic compression is horrendous and the bass boost makes them unlistenable on a decent hi-fi. I'll be offloading this CD asap.
